I would like to introduce Natalia Kremen Ballet School and the NK Foundation.

The School opened in 2012, with only three students and with the sole purpose of bringing the Russian Ballet method to students based in the South Kensington and Chelsea areas of London. Within three months of its opening, the school had grown to 30 students.

Since then the enrolment in the school has increased significantly, to 150 students. Our class group sizes are intentionally small and we focus on personal attention and an individual approach to each student.

We believe that any child can benefit from our classes and enjoy dancing, regardless of natural ability and socioeconomic background. The school offers a wide range of classes, examinations and performance opportunities to students age 3-16, based on the famous Vaganova syllabus.

The school produces excellent results, and several of our students and scholars have been accepted into leading upper ballet schools in the world such as the Royal Ballet School and Associates Programmes, Vaganova Academy, Bolshoi Academy, Perm State Ballet College, Elmhurst Royal Ballet School. The students have also performed with the Bolshoi and Mariinsky ballet companies here in London in Royal Opera House.

In 2015, I made the first step towards the fulfilment of my dream: to create and grow a charitable foundation that will inspire, encourage and support children in discovering and excelling at classical ballet by providing a range of scholarships and bursaries.

NK Foundation's primary social and public objectives lie in the areas of education, health and the community.

Whilst direct beneficiaries of the NK Foundation's efforts are children and young people who live in the UK and have shown potential for pursuing ballet as a career, the important objective of our inspirational project is not limited to providing opportunities for talented students.

 NK Foundation is a non-profit organisation that provides financial support to ballet students of exceptional talent but limited means.

The principal goals of NK Foundation are:

• to assist children and young peopled with a talent for classical ballet and dance in their technical, artistic and creative development in the UK and abroad;

• to preserve and develop cultural values and traditions of classical ballet, including through providing financial support to students with a potential for excelling in this art form.

Our scholarships and bursaries give students a chance to attend ballet classes as well as to perform in stage productions, participate in examinations, attend numerous ballet events organised by Natalia Kremen Ballet School (NKBS) and cover expenses for ballet uniforms andequipment.

In order to launch the Foundation’s bursary programme,  I had the idea of staging a gala here in London. I received myself a lot of much needed support during her ballet education and knows how important it is for a young talent whose family  can’t afford to pay tuition to have access to funding.

The school’s scholarship programme is already showing great results with the development of young talent.   All funds raised from the “I Have A Dream” gala will will go towards scholarships and bursaries for talented students whose families are unable to afford tuition and sundries required for a ballet education.

Ballet stars from leading ballet companies such as the Bolshoi, Mariinsky, Dutch National Ballet , Vienna State Ballet , English National Ballet, Royal Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet and many others are coming to support this event.

This event will be held at one of the most prestigious and unique venues in the heart of Chelsea – the Cadogan Hall.

The audience will include our clients, local high art lovers from Chelsea, Kensington and Knightsbridge as well as all over London, and ballet enthusiasts. We are planning to give wide exposure to this event through media, TV,  local magazines, newspapers and social media.

We are seeking various types of support and help.  One area where we would deeply appreciate sponsorship would be bringing all those great dancers from Moscow, St Petersburg, Vienna, Amsterdam, Stuttgart etc. to London to dance in the gala.

Tickets £15-£70
