The History of NKBS

The Natalia Kremen Ballet School was founded by former ballerina of English National Ballet, Natalia Kremen, in 2012.

For many of our students NKBS have become a home away from home place, where goals are treasured, continues improvement has beeb made and lifelong friendships are formed and treasured. We are very proud to have built a truly unique and caring community of students and teachers who inspire and motivate one another towards excellence, creativity and artistry.

With the mutual respect and sense of self-worth the NKBS family thrives and continues to raise the bar for personal achievement through effort and self-discipline.

We follow our own unique syllabus, carefully created by our founder, Natalia Kremen and our team of highly experienced ballet masters from around the world.

Our innovative training programmes continue to evolve through setting inspiring standards and establishing purpose-driven goals, both in dance, and life.

The exceptional quality of our fully-rounded education with exciting performing and educational opportunities is raising strong, confident, highly-motivated, smart, self-regulated and empowered individuals who enjoy, understand and appreciate the art of ballet.

 

Founder

Born in Moscow, Russia. Natalia Kremen started training at the age of ten at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, and graduated from the Leonid Lavrovsky’s Ballet Academy in 2002, where she was trained by Galina Krapivina (People’s Artist of USSR) and Nina Sorokina (People’s Artist of USSR).

While still being a student at the Academy, Natalia was invited by Artistic Director Dmitry Briantcev, to join the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Ballet Theater, where she danced many soloist roles in ballet’s such as Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Giselle, Dames Camellias, Snow maiden, Fille mal Gardée. Natalia has also created roles in Dmitry Briantcev’s choreography.

In 2004 Natalia entered a 5 year long teaching degree course at GITIS, the largest and oldest Russian Institute of Theatre Arts, where she graduated in 2009 with the qualification TEACHER – BALLET MISTRESS in the Speciality “BALLET PEDAGOGY”.

Her next milestone in the formation of her international career was an invitation by Wayne Eagling to join English National Ballet in 2006 .

During her time at ENB, Natalia performed in a numerous gala’s alongside other ballet stars, performing in countries around the world including Brazil, Dominican Republic, Russia, France, Italy, Spain and so on.

In 2012 Natalia Founded the “Natalia Kremen Ballet School“ in London UK.
